Restaurants from two new county jurisdictions – Emmitsburg’s Carriage House Inn and New Market’s Vintage – have joined the 2015 program, as well as five new restaurants from the City of Frederick including Café Nola, Family Meal, LeParc Bistro, Nido’s Little Italy and Pretzel & Pizza Creations.

Farm-to-Fork Frederick 2015 will also highlight the culinary and agricultural contributions of women-owned farms and restaurants, as well as female chefs, in and around Frederick County, Md. To date, Farm-to-Fork Frederick has enlisted six restaurants and four farms owned or co-owned by women. “We are so excited that this year’s Farm-to-Fork Frederick program will showcase these women and the culinary, agricultural and economic contributions they make to this area,” says Miriam Nasuti, Founder of Farm-to-Fork Frederick.

Farm-to-Fork Frederick 2015 will run August 28th through Labor Day, September 7th, 2015 and during this time, participating Chefs and restaurant owners commit to using at least 60% locally-sourced, farm-fresh ingredients to develop a special menu available to their patrons.
